I-25 & SH-21 (Powers Boulevard) Interchange

Project Description:
Lobato Construction has completed one project and is currently working on a 2nd project on the corridor for the future Powers Boulevard (SH-21) extension.

Lobato Construction was a subcontractor to Wildcat Construction on this Copper Ridge Metropolitan District project to construct the interchange for I-25 & the future SH-21 (Powers Boulevard) extension, near the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. Lobato Construction’s scope of work included construction of four single span mainline I-25 bridges, one single span ramp bridge, one 2-span ramp bridge, and concrete guardrail.

Completion Date: October 2021

Voyager Parkway Bridge

Lobato Construction was a subcontractor to Wildcat on this Copper Ridge Metropolitan District project to construct a new bridge carrying Voyager Parkway over the future SH-21 (Powers Boulevard) extension. The new bridge is a 2 span bridge, 207’ long by 115’ wide. Bridge work included pile driving and drilled shaft foundations, erection of 26 precast girders, and architectural enhancements including pedestrian railing and pilasters.
